YEPPOON 150 YEAR HERITAGE PINEFEST.
Yeppoon
and Central Queensland celebrates Q150 with the Yeppoon Heritage
Pinefest in Yeppoon from 9th to 11th October 2009.
The
Heritage Pinefest weekend is packed with traditional spectator
events reflecting our history and inheritance. [click

SERVING
OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY
The
Yeppoon Lions Club is committed to raising funds for distribution to
local charities and institutions in need, including disadvantaged
people with disabilities and special needs. They also raise funds
for National charities, Medical Research Foundations approved by
Lions Australia and Natural Disasters.
The
Club also provides community based activities such as Yeppoon Lions
Pine Fest and associated Ambassador Quest and Lions Youth of the
Year Quest, which helps develop the social skills and confidence of
our local youth. The Club assists with the Great Australia Day Beach
Party and runs Christmas in the Park which provides activities for
young people and families with children.
